By accessing this website, purchasing digital products, engaging with online content, booking appointments, or participating in services provided by Millie Hardie Psychology and The Pocket Psychologist, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Last updated: May 2026

Section 01

General Information

Millie Hardie Psychology provides psychological services, psychoeducation, digital resources, online courses, and general mental health content.

Content shared through this website, social media, courses, downloads, newsletters, or digital products is intended for educational and informational purposes only and does not replace individual psychological treatment, medical advice, diagnosis, or crisis support.

Section 02

Telehealth Services

Telehealth appointments are provided in accordance with Australian psychological practice standards and applicable registration requirements.

By participating in telehealth services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Telehealth services are delivered via phone or secure online platforms.
  • While reasonable efforts are made to maintain confidentiality and security, no online platform can guarantee absolute security.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you attend sessions in a private and appropriate environment.
  • You are responsible for ensuring adequate internet, device, and audio/visual capability.
  • Telehealth may not be appropriate for all individuals or presentations.
  • Services are provided only where legally permitted under Australian registration and jurisdiction requirements.

Telehealth services are provided only to individuals located within Australia at the time of consultation, unless otherwise arranged in writing. Millie Hardie Psychology reserves the right to determine whether telehealth is clinically appropriate.

Section 03

Independent Practitioners

Therapy services may be provided by registered psychologists who work with Millie Hardie Psychology as independent contractors, selected because their approach aligns with the values of the practice.

Each practitioner holds their own registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and their own professional indemnity insurance, and is responsible for their own clinical practice, clinical records, and professional obligations.

Where a practitioner provides services under their own terms and conditions, consent agreements, or privacy arrangements, those terms apply to the therapy they deliver. Millie Hardie Psychology facilitates the connection between clients and practitioners and is not responsible or liable for the independent clinical services provided by contracted practitioners.

Millie Hardie is not currently accepting new clients and does not operate a waitlist. Enquiries about the team can be directed to reception or to the contact email below.

Section 04

Crisis & Emergency Support

Millie Hardie Psychology and The Pocket Psychologist do not provide crisis services. If you are in crisis, at immediate risk, or require urgent support, contact emergency services or a crisis support service in your local area immediately.

Australian supports may include:

  • Lifeline: 13 11 14
  • 000 Emergency Services
  • Mental Health Line
  • Beyond Blue

International visitors should contact emergency or crisis services within their own country or region.

Section 05

Digital Products & Educational Resources

Digital products, mini courses, PDFs, downloads, newsletters, videos, and educational materials are provided for personal educational use only.

Purchase of a digital product does not establish a psychologist-client relationship. Results from educational content may vary between individuals, and no guarantees are made regarding outcomes, symptom improvement, or personal results.

Section 06

Eligibility & Age Requirements

Digital products and educational resources are intended for purchase and use by individuals aged 18 years and over. Individuals under 18 may only access or use materials with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts responsibility for that use.

By purchasing a digital product, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Section 07

International Purchases

Digital products are available for purchase internationally. If you are accessing services or purchasing products from outside Australia, you are responsible for:

  • Complying with the laws and regulations of your own jurisdiction.
  • Any applicable taxes, duties, or charges that may apply in your country.
  • Ensuring the content is appropriate for use within your region.

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. Currency conversion is the responsibility of the purchaser and their financial institution.

Section 08

Third-Party Platforms

Some digital products, courses, and services may be sold, hosted, or delivered through third-party platforms (including but not limited to Stan Store, Squarespace, Flodesk, Stripe, and PayPal).

Use of these platforms is also subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. Millie Hardie Psychology is not responsible for the actions, policies, or technical performance of third-party platforms.

Section 09

Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of products and resources, refunds are generally not provided for change of mind, accidental purchase, or failure to complete or engage with the material.

If you experience technical difficulties accessing a product, please contact us within 7 days of purchase and reasonable efforts will be made to resolve the issue. This policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including any non-excludable consumer guarantees that may apply.

Section 10

Content shared on social media is general in nature and is not tailored psychological advice. Engagement with social media content, comments, direct messages, newsletters, or downloads does not create a therapeutic relationship.

Direct messages and social media accounts are not monitored as crisis services.

Section 12

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Millie Hardie Psychology and The Pocket Psychologist are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damages arising from use of this website, digital products, educational materials, or services.
